Job summary

Pentair in Golden Valley, MN, seeks a Workers’ Compensation Manager to lead the U.S. workers’ compensation program across HR, EH&S, Operations, Finance and Legal. You will drive reporting, documentation, and compliance to reduce frequency and severity of claims.

The role emphasizes prevention, analytics, and strong vendor management to influence costs and outcomes, plus return-to-work initiatives and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of workers’ compensation claims experience across the U.S.
• Experience managing claims end-to-end including reserves and case valuation.
• Knowledge of federal and state disability laws (ADA, FEHA, FMLA) and workers’ compensation regulations.
• Experience in a self-insured environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and administer the full lifecycle of the company’s workers’ compensation program.
• Develop and maintain enterprise-wide workers’ compensation policies and processes.
• Advise senior leadership and collaborate with HR, EH&S, and Operations to reduce claim costs and improve return-to-work outcomes.
• Oversee claim activities with third-party administrators and vendors to ensure compliance and timely reporting.
• Monitor programs, report KPIs, and drive data-based improvements and cost containment.
