Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience in disability case management and related areas.
• Familiarity with ADA and FMLA requirements.
• Medical terminology sufficient to analyze workers’ compensation reports.
• Legal terminology sufficient to understand judges’ decisions and related activities.
• Knowledge of Minnesota Managed Care Rules, practices and procedures.
• Software experience such as spreadsheets, word processing, and database management.
• Mathematical skills sufficient to administer the Leave Supplement Program.

Responsibilities

• Administer the agency workers’ compensation program regionally for the Metro District and support statewide program activities.
• Provide claim management expertise to ensure employee benefits and agency compliance with state statutes and rules.
