Pentair, a global leader in water solutions, has an opening for a Workers Compensation Manager in Golden Valley, MN. You will lead the full lifecycle of the U.S. workers’ compensation program, partnering with HR, EH&S, and Operations to reduce costs, improve injury prevention, and optimize return-to-work outcomes.

The role spans governance, analytics, vendor management, and compliance. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years’ claims experience nationwide, a bachelor’s degree in business, HR

Qualifications

• 5+ years of workers’ compensation claims experience across the U.S.
• Experience with ADA, FEHA, FMLA and workers’ compensation laws/regulations.
• Proven ability to manage claims end-to-end, including reserves and case valuation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and administer the full lifecycle of the company’s workers’ compensation program.
• Develop and maintain enterprise-wide workers’ compensation policies and processes.
• Advise senior leadership and partner with HR, EH&S and Operations on injury prevention, return-to-work outcomes, and cost reduction.
• Oversee all claim activities with third-party administrators and vendors to ensure timely reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Drive vendor performance by setting expectations and monitoring service levels.
• Manage complex or litigated claims with proactive follow-up to mitigate exposure.
• Collaborate with HR and Operations on return-to-work placements and medical restrictions.
• Analyze claims data and produce reports to identify trends and reduce exposure.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, accruals, and insurance renewal processes.
