Job summary

DriveTime Family of Brands in Tempe, AZ seeks an experienced Workers' Compensation Manager to oversee our workers' compensation program, manage claims from reporting to closure, and drive cost containment while ensuring regulatory compliance. You'll partner with Safety, HR, Operations, and Legal, analyze trends, develop return-to-work programs, and guide leaders on claims processes.

A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in claims management are preferred; hybrid work with on-site presence three days

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in workers' compensation or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Strong knowledge of regulations, return-to-work programs, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of workers' compensation claims from injury reporting to closure.
• Serve as primary contact for employees, managers, insurers, TPAs, and legal teams.
• Monitor open claims to identify trends, risks, and cost containment opportunities.
• Investigate injuries and ensure timely documentation.
• Develop return-to-work and claim management programs to reduce duration and TCOR.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Analyze data and report on activity, costs, and program effectiveness.
• Partner with Safety, HR, Operations, and Legal to mitigate risks and improve safety.
