Job summary

WeDriveU is seeking a detail-oriented Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist to manage the national program in partnership with TPAs, carriers, and internal teams. You will oversee claims from initial reporting through closure, aiming to minimize costs while supporting injured employees and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of three years experience in workers' compensation claims or related insurance, claims, or risk management.
• Working knowledge of workers' compensation claims processes and applicable regulations.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a portfolio of workers' compensation claims with TPAs, brokers, and carriers.
• Monitor claim activity for timely investigation, reserving, return-to-work planning, and resolution.
• Coordinate with internal and external counsel on litigated claims.
• Participate in settlement discussions with TPAs, carriers, and counsel.
• Review claim documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as point of contact for Operations, HR, Safety, and others.
• Collaborate with TPAs, medical providers, and external partners to manage claims.
• Identify trends and opportunities to reduce claim frequency and severity.
• Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership.
