Albert & Mackenzie, a well-established workers’ compensation defense firm with a strong California presence, seeks a skilled attorney to join our team. You will represent clients, conduct legal research, draft pleadings, attend hearings and depositions, and negotiate settlements.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.
• Ability to identify and analyze complex legal issues and devise solutions.
• Proactive, client-centered, and tech-savvy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Superior organizational, multi-task, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in workers’ compensation proceedings.
• Conduct legal research, analyze complex issues, and draft legal documents.
• Attend hearings and depositions.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Effectively manage time and follow Firm procedures.
• Collaborate with all levels both internal and external.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
