The Workers' Compensation (WC) Resolution Specialist II’s primary responsibility is to manage and resolve accounts/cases associated with workers' compensation claims in outstanding AR greater than 1 year. This role demands a strong understanding of workers' compensation regulations, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders. An additional objective is analyzing and preparing cases for the possibility of litigation. This position includes compliance with HIPAA, state and federal document security regulations. Specialists receive advanced training in workers’ compensation laws, regulations, and copy service fee schedules related to all aspects of billing, collections, objections, and the regulatory landscape specifically related to copy service fees. The WC Resolution Specialist II will also be involved in mentoring, training, and assisting other departments in the understanding of workers compensation as a whole and copy service as an individual area of specialty.
The pay range for this role is $26.44-$33.17. Starting pay for new hires is typically within the lower third of the range: $26.44-$28.69. Exceptions may be made based on factors such as education, specialized skills, or significant relevant experience.
