Job summary

Davies North America is seeking a Lost Time Adjuster in Florida to conduct thorough investigations of Workers’ Compensation claims. This full‑time hybrid role requires onsite work three days a week in Palm Beach County and remote work the other two days.

The successful candidate will adjust claims for Davies Claims North America TPA clients, manage reserves, authorize medical services, and ensure timely state filings while maintaining meticulous documentation and strong communication with all

Qualifications

1–3 years of handling Workers’ Compensation claims.
Active Florida All Lines Adjuster or Workers’ Compensation license required.
Maintain CEU credits for licensure.
Knowledge of Florida Statutes and Rules and their application.
Excellent diary and workflow management in a fast paced setting.
High attention to detail and problem solving.
Ability to work independently with strong organization.

Responsibilities

Adjust claims for Davies Claims North America TPA clients.
Investigate claims with timely contact to employees, employers, physicians, and witnesses.
Evaluate claim details and statutes to determine compensability and value.
Set and adjust reserves appropriately for ongoing claims.
Initiate indemnity payments timely and maintain diaries.
Ensure timely state filings and manage EDI filings with the adjuster.
Monitor medical treatment with Nurse Case Manager and review bills for payment within 3 days.
Authorize medical services per Florida Statute 440.13 as needed.
Maintain regular contact with injured employees and coordinate light duties.
