JCW Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading property and casualty insurance organization for an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster to join their team on a temporary contract assignment. This fully remote role will manage Workers’ Compensation claims across Kentucky.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience, including complex indemnity claims.
• Experience with Kentucky WC claims and licensing required.
• Active Kentucky workers’ compensation adjuster license required.
• Ability to independently manage a fast-paced, high-volume caseload.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex Workers’ Compensation claims across Kentucky, including repetitive and cumulative trauma claims.
• Conduct timely investigations, determine compensability, and evaluate claim exposure.
• Manage medical treatment, indemnity benefits, reserves, payments, return-to-work, and claims through resolution.
• Independently manage a high-volume caseload with timely follow-up, accurate documentation, and responsive communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex Workers’ Compensation claims across Kentucky, including repetitive and cumulative trauma claims.
• Conduct timely and thorough investigations, determine compensability, and evaluate claim exposure.
• Manage medical treatment, indemnity benefits, reserves, payments, return-to-work efforts, and claims through resolution.
• Independently manage a high-volume caseload while ensuring timely follow-up, accurate documentation, and responsive communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience, including complex indemnity claims.
• Workers’ Compensation claims experience in Kentucky.
• Active Workers’ Compensation adjuster license in either Kentucky is required.
• Ability to independently manage claims in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
