The role focuses on managing complex indemnity claims from initial investigation through potential litigation, requiring strong technical claims background and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate will independently manage claims and collaborate with a national team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Workers’ Compensation indemnity claims experience.
• Active Workers’ Compensation adjuster license(s) as required.
• Ability to manage claims from investigation to resolution.

JCW is recruiting on behalf of a leading specialty property and casualty insurance organization seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster to join their team on a temporary contract assignment.

This role provides the opportunity to manage complex Workers’ Compensation indemnity claims in New Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical claims background, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to independently manage claims from initial investigation through litigation and resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of complex Workers’ Compensation indemnity claims.


• Conduct thorough, timely investigations and assess relevant information to determine coverage and exposure.


• Review claim forms, policy documentation, endorsements, and other supporting documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience, including handling indemnity claims of varying complexity.


• Active Workers’ Compensation adjuster license(s) as required.
