Job summary

JCW Group is recruiting a Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster for a fully remote temporary assignment supporting Indiana and Iowa. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of WC claims experience, including complex indemnity and lost-time matters, and can independently manage a high-volume caseload.

Responsibilities include investigating claims, determining compensability, handling medical bills and indemnity benefits, and reducing backlog with meticulous documentation and proactive communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience, including complex indemnity and lost-time claims.
• Workers’ Compensation claims experience in Indiana and/or Iowa.
• Ability to independently handle claims in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the existing claims team with Workers’ Compensation claims across Indiana and Iowa, including lost-time, indemnity, and litigated claims.
• Conduct timely and thorough investigations, determine compensability, and evaluate claim exposure.
• Assist with medical bills, indemnity benefits, reserves, payments, return-to-work efforts, and claims resolution.
• Help manage outstanding claims and reduce the team's current backlog while ensuring timely follow-up, accurate documentation, and responsive communication.
