Job summary

JCW Group is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster for a remote temporary assignment handling claims across West Virginia and Kentucky. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background managing complex claims and independently handling a high-volume caseload.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience.
• Experience in West Virginia and/or Kentucky; WV experience preferred.
• Active Workers’ Compensation adjuster license in WV or KY required.
• Ability to independently manage a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Manage a portfolio of complex Workers’ Compensation claims across West Virginia and Kentucky, including repetitive and cumulative trauma claims.
• Conduct timely investigations, determine compensability, and evaluate claim exposure.
• Manage medical treatment, indemnity benefits, reserves, payments, return-to-work efforts, and claims through resolution.
• Independently manage a high-volume caseload with timely follow-up and accurate documentation.

JCW is recruiting on behalf of a leading property and casualty insurance organization for an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster to join their team on a temporary contract assignment. This is a fully remote opportunity managing Workers’ Compensation claims across West Virginia and Kentucky. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background handling complex Workers’ Compensation claims, including repetitive and cumulative trauma claims, and the ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex Workers’ Compensation claims across West Virginia and Kentucky, including repetitive and cumulative trauma claims.
• Conduct timely and thorough investigations, determine compensability, and evaluate claim exposure.
• Manage medical treatment, indemnity benefits, reserves, payments, return-to-work efforts, and claims through resolution.
• Independently manage a high-volume caseload while ensuring timely follow-up, accurate documentation, and responsive communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience, including complex indemnity claims.
• Workers’ Compensation claims experience in West Virginia and/or Kentucky, with strong West Virginia experience highly preferred.
• Active Workers’ Compensation adjuster license in either West Virginia or Kentucky is required.
• Ability to independently manage claims in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

THIS IS A FULLY REMOTE TEMP ASSIGNMENT WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO POTENTIALLY GO PERMANENT AFTER 3–6 MONTHS
