Job summary

Optim Orthopedics is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Manager in Savannah, GA. You will lead the WC department, oversee onboarding with the Senior Coordinator, and collaborate with executives and external partners to drive growth and efficient workflows.

You will ensure accurate patient registrations, timely WC/PI appointments, and coordinate authorizations, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; strong communication and HIPAA knowledge.
• Medical office and Workers' Compensation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic billing, clinical functions, and administrative procedures in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for daily department operations and oversee staffing.
• Lead hiring and onboarding with Senior Workers’ Compensation Coordinator.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficient workflows.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to address issues.
• Coordinate pre-certifications and authorizations as needed.
