Job summary

OrthoArizona is seeking a Senior Worker's Compensation Coordinator to join our large private orthopedic practice serving the Phoenix area. The role supports patients, clinicians and business office by handling registrations, authorizations, and workflow for workers’ compensation cases.

You will liaise with employers, adjusters and nurse case managers, manage data in our practice management system, ensure patient portal access, and help meet patient satisfaction goals.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; healthcare admin preferred.
• 1+ year medical office admin or clinical experience; workers' comp knowledge a plus.
• Excellent customer service; patient-focused and professional.
• Ability to handle high volume calls and accurate data entry.
• Experience with EHR systems; ModMed or Athena Centricity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule workers' comp appointments and follow-ups.
• Enter demographics, insurance and work comp data into PM system.
• Obtain authorizations and pre-certifications as needed.
• Coordinate communication between patients, adjusters, attorneys, and physician teams.
• Ensure patient portal access and distribute forms prior to visits.
• Support patient satisfaction goals.
