The role emphasizes high-volume phone and data-entry tasks, with a focus on accuracy, patient satisfaction, and collaboration across departments in a fast-paced orthopedic practice environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in medical office administration or clinical setting preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration or related field is a plus.
• Experience with workers' compensation processes is beneficial.
• Strong customer service focus and ability to manage high-volume inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Field outreach from injured workers or employers to facilitate services by OrthoArizona (OAZ).
• Obtain authorization and pre-certification for services as needed.
• Schedule workers' compensation appointments and coordinate ancillary services.
• Coordinate with employers, adjusters, attorneys, and physician teams on case issues.
• Manage workflow of workers' compensation cases and documentation.
• Enter data into the Practice Management System and ensure patient access to portals.
