Farah & Farah is seeking a Workers Comp Legal Assistant in Fort Myers, FL. This in-office role supports the Workers Compensation team from intake through resolution, requiring strong organization and client communication.

The position is full-time with standard 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, onsite in a professional office setting. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (associates or bachelor’s preferred), experience as a legal assistant, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role, preferably in personal injury law.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist case team in gathering and organizing case documents.
• Maintain accurate case files (physical and electronic).
• Prepare correspondence, pleadings, and documents as directed.
• Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather documentation.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate communication between clients and attorneys.
• Open new case files and input data into case management software.
• Manage onsite files and handle mail and faxes.
