Job summary

Farah & Farah seeks a Workers’ Compensation Case Specialist to manage daily handling of workers’ compensation cases from intake through settlement. You’ll work with clients, medical providers, attorneys, and insurers to keep cases organized and progressing smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in workers’ compensation or personal injury law, strong knowledge of Florida laws, excellent communication, and proficiency with legal case management software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in workers’ compensation or personal injury law.
• Strong knowledge of Florida workers’ compensation laws and procedures.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency with legal case management software.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation claims under an attorney.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Collect, review, and organize medical records, employment information, and other case documentation.
• Monitor case timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Communicate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and opposing counsel as needed.
• Prepare and submit required documentation to the Division of Workers’ Compensation.
• Assist with preparing demand packages and settlement documentation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the case management software.
• Collaborate with legal assistants and other team members to ensure seamless case progression.
