Job summary

Wintersteen Casarez Law Corporation seeks an attorney with 2–5+ years of workers' compensation defense experience to join our team. We defend workers' compensation cases from inception to resolution, collaborating with insurers, employers, and third-party administrators in a paperless environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degrees.
Member of the State Bar of California, in good standing.
Superior research, analytical, and negotiating ability.
Excellent written and oral communication.
Commitment to proactive case management.
Experience in Merus or Litify is preferred but not required.
Experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Teams preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Manage the legal defense of workers' compensation cases from inception to final resolution.
Coordinate with insurers, employers, and third-party administrators.
Work in a paperless environment and collaborate with team to grow the practice.
