Jobot is recruiting an attorney to join a growing, defense-focused law firm specializing in workers' compensation. The role offers full remote work, with the flexibility to originate and grow a portable book of business in GA/FL, while leveraging firm support in billing, admin, and marketing.

Candidates should bring substantial workers' compensation experience and a strong client network. Compensation is salary-based and tied to collections, with potential partnership or equity for the right

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in GA and/or FL, in good standing.
• Substantial experience practicing workers' compensation law.
• Established portable book of workers' compensation business.
• History of originating and maintaining client relationships.
• Ability to independently manage a workers' compensation caseload.
• Willingness to attend court and other proceedings within the attorney's state.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of workers' compensation clients and matters.
• Maintain direct relationships with clients and referral sources.
• Represent clients in workers' compensation proceedings, hearings, mediations, and litigation as appropriate.
• Handle matters through resolution, including settlement negotiations and contested proceedings.
• Continue developing business through existing relationships and new opportunities.
• Collaborate with the firm's attorneys and support professionals.
• Maintain client service standards and compliance with applicable state legal requirements.
