Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree or a professional claims designation, have at least five years of adjuster experience with supervisory exposure, and demonstrate strong communication, organization, decision-making, coaching, and workload

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or professional claims designation preferred.
• Minimum of five years of workers' compensation claims adjusting experience; supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of workers' compensation claims, regulations, case law, and claims management practices.
• Experience handling complex, catastrophic, or litigated claims.
• Strong communication, organization, decision-making, coaching, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of workers' compensation claims adjusters.
• Assign and balance workloads to support timely, high-quality claim handling and customer service.
• Conduct claim audits, supervisory reviews, and quality assurance activities.
• Monitor productivity, customer service, claim activity, and performance metrics.
• Review and approve settlements, liability decisions, reserve changes, and other significant claim actions.
