Job summary

The successful candidate will have five or more years in claims adjusting with leadership experience and advanced knowledge of workers’ compensation regulations and case law.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of claims adjusting experience; supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• Experience handling complex, catastrophic, or litigated claims.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or professional claims designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of workers’ compensation claims adjusters.
• Assign and balance workloads to support timely, high-quality claim handling and customer service.
• Conduct claim audits, supervisory reviews, and quality assurance activities within standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor productivity, customer service, claim activity, and performance metrics using reporting tools.
• Review and approve settlements, liability decisions, reserve changes, and other significant claim actions within authority.
• Provide technical guidance on escalated claim issues and support onboarding and development.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, consistency, and operational efficiency.
