Job summary

Ete Reman in Milwaukee seeks a Workers' Compensation Specialist to manage a high-volume claims portfolio from first report through closure. You will serve as the main contact for injured employees, supervisors, the insurer/TPA, and medical providers, driving early return-to-work and ensuring timely Wisconsin reporting.

You will maintain OSHA logs, prepare reports, and collaborate with Safety, HR, and operations to control costs while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

4+ years of workers' compensation claims handling or administration, preferably in a high-volume setting.
Strong knowledge of Wisconsin workers' compensation rules and OSHA recordkeeping.
Ability to prioritize and manage claim activity with competing daily deadlines.
Experience working with hourly production employees and supervisors.

Responsibilities

Manage an active caseload of 75+ claims with daily new injuries across multiple shifts.
Submit first reports of injury via carrier website/TPA and coordinate with adjusters.
Investigate incidents with Safety Team and collect statements, photos, and job-task details.
Track claims through treatment, work status, lost time, and closure with proactive follow-up.
Place employees in modified or transitional duty in collaboration with production Supervisors.
Maintain OSHA logs and submit required data to third party providers.
