West Bend is seeking an experienced claims professional to take ownership of complex workers' compensation claims from initial investigation through resolution. The role emphasizes sound coverage, liability, and settlement decisions on an active desk with strong organization and prioritization.

You will research policy language, negotiate with insureds, claimants, and counsel, manage a busy caseload, and mentor teammates while delivering high-quality customer service aligned with audit standards.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or related field.
• Associate in Claims (AIC) designation.
• Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designation.
• CPCU coursework or related professional development.

Mansioni

• Take ownership of complex workers' comp claims from investigation through resolution.
• Research policy language and develop coverage decisions.
• Conduct thorough investigations and evaluate liability, damages, reserves, and settlement strategy.
• Negotiate with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and other involved parties.
• Oversee litigated files and coordinate with counsel.
• Proactively manage a busy caseload with timely follow-up and documentation.
• Present complex claims to Committee and communicate recommendations.
