Engine & Transmission in Milwaukee is seeking a Workers' Compensation Specialist to manage a high-volume caseload from injury reporting to closure. You will serve as the main contact for employees, supervisors, carriers, and medical providers, driving early return-to-work to control costs in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will ensure compliance with Wisconsin statutes, maintain OSHA logs, and prepare timely reports.

Formación

• 4+ years of workers' compensation claims handling or administration.
• Working knowledge of Wisconsin workers' compensation rules and OSHA recordkeeping.
• Ability to prioritize and manage claim activity with daily deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication with hourly production staff.
• Proficiency in MS Office and claims software.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and return-to-work programs.

Responsabilidades

• Manage an active caseload of 75+ claims with daily new injuries across shifts.
• Complete and submit first reports of injury via carrier/TPA.
• Investigate incidents with the Safety Team; gather statements, photos, and task details.
• Track claims through treatment, work status, lost time, and closure.
• Coordinate with supervisors on modified/transitional duty and return-to-work.
• Maintain OSHA logs and coordinate reporting with OSHA and third-party providers.
• Support injury-prevention programs and coordination of accommodations.
