Ventura Orthopedics is seeking a highly organized Worker’s Compensation Coordinator to join our clinic team. You will act as a key liaison between patients, physicians, insurance carriers, attorneys, and employers, ensuring injuries receive timely care and support throughout treatment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of related healthcare/administrative experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments for workers' compensation patients.
• Coordinate and verify treatment authorizations with insurance carriers.
• Obtain medical records from insurers and physicians.
• Distribute reports to physicians, carriers, and attorneys.
• Maintain workers' compensation correspondence and documentation.
• Assist physicians with job descriptions and forms.
• Arrange interpreters for Spanish-speaking patients as needed.
• Communicate with carriers, patients, employers, and attorneys.
• Enter and maintain patient demographic information.
