Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare admin experience preferred.
- Experience with Workers' Compensation or orthopedic offices a plus.
- Strong customer service and patient-focused attitude.
- Familiarity with medical office administration and insurance basics.
- Experience with EHR systems such as ModMed or Athena Centricity is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Schedule workers' compensation appointments and pre-certifications.
- Serve as liaison among patients, adjusters, nurse case managers, and physician teams.
- Enter patient and claim data into the practice management system accurately.
- Assist with portal access, forms, and appointment preparation.
- Ensure patient satisfaction goals are met or exceeded.
