Job summary

Kognitiv Inc. is seeking a Tier 2 Workday Technical Specialist to work embedded within 1-2 client teams in a staff augmentation model.

You will address intermediate Workday configurations and integrations, resolve escalated Tier 1 issues, perform root cause analysis, and escalate advanced issues to Tier 3 post-production consulting teams under supervision. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of Workday experience, strong knowledge of Workday modules, and proficiency in ITSM tools like ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Workday support, configuration, or administration experience.
• Knowledge of Workday modules (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Financials) and config skills.
• Workday reporting, business process configuration, or basic integrations; ITSM tools like ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Embed in 1-2 client teams to resolve intermediate Workday issues (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Financials).
• Troubleshoot escalated issues, focusing on middle-ground business process configurations and basic integrations.
• Analyze recurring issues to identify root causes and recommend improvements.
• Escalate advanced issues to Tier 3 with documentation.
• Configure Workday processes and reports to meet client needs in Tier 2 support.
• Document solutions in knowledge base to aid efficiency.
• Guide Tier 1 specialists to improve troubleshooting.
• Maintain client relationships via proactive communication and SLAs.
