Job summary

Legend Biotech in Bridgewater, NJ seeks Associate Director, Workday Solutions to lead Workday strategy within HR, focusing on Core HCM and U.S. Payroll, Benefits, Time, and Absence, with plans to expand modules.

You will manage a team of HRIS professionals and collaborate across HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Audit, and Compliance to deliver scalable, well-controlled solutions. This role drives a Workday roadmap, governance, and change management; leads implementations and optimizations; and ensures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or Information Systems.
• 10+ years HRIS/HR systems experience with significant Workday.
• 5+ years leading Workday functional areas or complex initiatives.
• Experience with Core HCM and modules such as Payroll, Benefits, Time, Absence, Talent, Performance, or Recruiting.
• Experience with Workday governance, security, controls, releases, and production support.
• People leadership and implementation partner/vendor management experience.
• Strong Workday functional, business process, security, and reporting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead Workday strategy and roadmap aligned with HR and business priorities.
• Prioritize enhancements, automation, and process improvements.
• Evaluate Workday releases to maximize platform value.
• Lead functional ownership across current and future Workday modules and ensure scalable solutions.
• Oversee security, reporting, testing, releases, training, and optimization.
• Lead governance, change controls, and HR data governance.
• Drive new Workday module implementations and major enhancements.
• Manage delivery across HR, IT, consultants, and vendors.
• Lead change management and adoption for Workday initiatives.
