Position: Workday Reporting Associate

We are looking to add a Workday Reporting Associate to our National Finance team! This role can be based in the US and is fully remote.

Role Overview

The Workday Report Associate is responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying Workday reports. This includes managing review and sign-off processes with Workday Functional Leads and SMEs. The role collaborates with the Finance Reporting & Analytics team to understand the Workday solution design and its impact on reporting.

Essential Duties

1. Develop, maintain, and optimize Workday Finance reports and dashboards.
2. Gather requirements, build, test, and debug reports.
3. Translate functional specifications into technical reports.
4. Create reports from Workday and other database systems.
5. Review and optimize report performance.
6. Document report functionalities for maintenance.
7. Support troubleshooting report failures.
8. Develop advanced reports using Workday Report Writer.
9. Research new Workday reporting features to meet user needs.
10. Support Workday's biannual releases through impact analysis and reporting.

Governance, Support, and Education

1. Participate in report reviews, ensuring security and data privacy standards.
2. Partner with Workday Security team on data standards.
3. Serve as a subject matter expert for reporting functions.
4. Provide data support to Finance staff and leadership.
5. Maintain proficiency with talent systems.
6. Support data requests and deliver reporting training.
7. Train users on Workday reporting features.
8. Follow standards and change management processes.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience or 7 years of equivalent experience.

Technical & Soft Skills

• Aptitude for learning report writing tools.
• Knowledge of finance reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to consolidate data from multiple sources.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work independently.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in Workday reporting, including Calculated Fields, Advanced, Matrix, Trending, and Composite reports.
• Workday report writing experience.
• Experience with ERP reporting and understanding of finance data.
• Additional experience with Workday Prism, BIRT, Worksheets, and finance in professional services or public accounting.

Salary range: $69,800 - $115,500, with potential for discretionary bonuses based on performance.
