Job summary

Nelnet, Inc. is seeking an IT Manager, Workday Platform to lead the technical delivery of our Workday SaaS environment. You will manage engineers and developers, ensuring platform health and successful collaboration with HRIS and Finance stakeholders.

The role supports a hybrid work model with flexibility for near-office collaboration within 30 miles, while requiring authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Strong leadership and Workday experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading technical teams including hiring, coaching and performance management.
• Ability to translate functional requirements into prioritized technical work for a SaaS platform.
• Experience managing relationships with non-technical business stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance.
• Experience with incident management, change management, and release coordination for a business-critical platform.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and develop a team of Workday Operations Engineers and Developers.
• Partner with HRIS and Accounting/Finance stakeholders to translate requirements into work.
• Oversee day-to-day platform operations, incidents, changes, and releases for a SaaS platform.
• Drive process improvements and monitor team performance and platform health.
