Job summary

Aurora is seeking a People Operations Analyst to optimize HR systems, primarily Workday, and ensure data integrity across processes. You will partner with PBPs, People Operations, and the PTech team to enable scalable, audit‑ready workflows and enhance system use across the organization.

You will own testing, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging AI tools to streamline data management and reporting while developing self‑service capabilities for managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in HR Operations, HRIS, or People Systems roles with strong hands‑on Workday experience.
• Proficiency in executing mass data changes (eg EIBs) and maintaining high data accuracy.
• Experience leading system testing (UAT) including planning, execution, and defect management.
• Strong understanding of HR data, workflows, and lifecycle processes with scalable solutions.
• Experience leveraging digital tools and AI assistants to improve efficiency, documentation, and workflows.

Responsibilities

• HRIS Support & Process Optimization: Own and optimize Workday processes and structures; perform high‑volume data changes with validation and controls; configure and run Workday reports; shift processes to manager self‑service and automation; liaison between People and HRIS (PTech).
• Testing & Compliance: Lead system testing (UAT) for Workday releases and updates; support compliance reporting with accurate data and documentation.
• Continuous Improvement & AI Enablement: Identify high‑risk or manual workflows and implement automated or AI‑enabled solutions; document workflows and train AI agents; upskill team on processes, Workday, data management, and EIB loads.
