AMS Impact Group is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Tempe, hybrid work model, serving over 800 nationwide employees in Workday payroll.

The role requires 4–6 years of payroll experience, a business or accounting degree, and strong knowledge of multi-state tax rules. You will maintain payroll records, process stipends and ad-hoc payments, and collaborate with HR and Benefits to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of progressive payroll experience
• Workday processing and reporting experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of tax and wage laws in a multi-state environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical and detail‑oriented with discretion

Responsibilities

• Update payroll records by approving self-service changes within Workday
• Pull hours in Time and Attendance system, enter and validate data for Bi-weekly processing
• Process stipends, incentives, and ad-hoc payments
• Balance bi-weekly payroll reconciliation worksheet and reports
• Prepare reports and queries for internal business partners
• Collaborate with HR and Benefits to resolve pay and deduction issues
