Job summary

Addison Group is partnering with a nonprofit organization undergoing a major Workday transformation. The Workday Integration & Support Engineer will maintain and build integrations across Financials, HCM, Payroll, and Planning, acting as the go-to person when integrations break and ensuring clean releases and accurate data.

Ideal candidates will join a high-visibility enterprise program, collaborating with Finance, IT, HR, Payroll, and external partners to deliver reliable Workday solutions

Qualifications

• 3+ years supporting Workday in a production environment across Financials, HCM, Payroll, or Planning
• Hands-on experience with Workday reports, calculated fields, security, business processes, and integrations
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, change control, and deployment support skills
• Experience with ITIL/ITSM processes and communicating with technical and business stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, RaaS, Workday Studio, Orchestrate, PECI/PICOF, APIs, SFTP, XML, XSLT, and XPath
• Triage and resolve Workday incidents, service requests, integration failures, and data issues with root causes documented
• Create and maintain Workday reports, calculated fields, security configuration, and data extracts
• Support Workday migrations, testing, release validation, change control, and production deployments
• Support data mapping, conversion, reconciliation, and validation across Workday and downstream financial systems
• Partner with Finance, IT, HR, Payroll, vendors, and implementation partners to translate requirements into practical solutions
• Maintain clear functional and technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge articles

Assignment Type: Contract (6+ months)

Pay Rate: $60 - $65 / Hr

Work Schedule: Remote, Monday - Friday

They are looking for a Workday Integration & Support Engineer to keep their Workday Financials, HCM, Payroll, and Planning environment running smoothly, build and maintain integrations, and help carry the transformation through its next phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, RaaS, Workday Studio, Orchestrate, PECI/PICOF, APIs, SFTP, XML, XSLT, and XPath

• Partner with Finance, IT, HR, Payroll, vendors, and implementation partners to translate requirements into practical solutions
• Maintain clear functional and technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge articles

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years supporting Workday in a production environment, ideally across Financials, HCM, Payroll, or Planning
• Hands‑on experience with Workday reports, calculated fields, security, business processes, and integrations
• Working knowledge of EIB, Core Connectors, RaaS, Workday Studio, REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, XML, and XSLT
• Strong troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, change control, and deployment support skills
• Experience with ITIL/ITSM support processes and the ability to communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders

Preferred

• Workday integration certification or ITIL Foundation certification
• Experience with Workday implementations, data conversion, or post‑go‑live stabilization
• Experience with MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar integration platforms
• Background working alongside external implementation partners
