Job summary

TCWGlobal is seeking a Workday Finance Integration Engineer in Palo Alto, CA, onsite five days a week, to implement and extend the Workday Financials platform across entities worldwide. You will own end-to-end integrations from requirements through go-live and post–production support.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5+ years of Workday integration experience.
• Strong understanding of the Workday Financials data model, including GL, AP, AR, supplier accounts/payments, and banking.
• Experience with Workday security as it relates to integrations and data access.
• Experience developing custom reports, calculated fields, and integration-related reporting.
• Experience integrating Workday with third-party applications and external systems.
• Familiarity with Cloud Connect/Connectors is beneficial.
• Experience supporting global organizations, multiple legal entities, currencies is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support complex Workday Financials integrations.
• Build integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Workday Web Services/APIs, XML, and XSLT.
• Partner directly with Finance, Accounting, IT, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into integration solutions.
• Develop and support integrations involving financial data such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, supplier payments, banking, trial balances, aging, and other financial transactions.
• Create and maintain custom Workday Financials reports, calculated fields, and data extracts supporting integrations and business requirements.
• Manage integration security, including appropriate access and security configurations.
• Support data conversion and data-loading activities using Workday integration tools, including EIBs.
• Integrate Workday Financials with third-party financial systems, banking platforms, APIs, and other enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues and support testing, go-live, and post-production stabilization.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow established integration patterns while identifying opportunities for improvements.
• Work independently in a lean environment while collaborating closely with functional leads, architects, Finance, Accounting, and other technical teams.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Workday Finance Integration Engineer to support a global technology organization with the implementation and expansion of its Workday Financials platform across multiple international entities.

This is a highly hands-on technical role for someone who can independently take integration requirements from Finance and Accounting stakeholders and translate them into scalable Workday solutions. You will own integrations throughout the full lifecycle—from requirements and design through development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and post-go-live support.

The team is lean, highly collaborative, and currently works fully onsite in Palo Alto. Due to the complexity of the implementation and the importance of real-time collaboration and problem-solving, this position will also be onsite five days per week.

What You'll Do

• Strong understanding of the Workday Financials data model, including areas such as GL, AP, AR, supplier accounts/payments, and banking.
• Experience with Workday security as it relates to integrations and data access.

• Experience integrating Workday with third-party applications and external systems.
• Familiarity with Cloud Connect/Connectors is beneficial.
• Experience with Prism Analytics or Accounting Center is helpful but not required.
• Experience supporting global organizations, multiple legal entities, countries, or currencies is a plus.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with both technical and functional stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
