Ultimate Staffing is seeking an HRIS Specialist for a 6-month contract in Fremont, CA. Workday will be the payroll platform and the role requires strong business analysis and technical aptitude to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate will bridge business needs and technology, collaborating with HR, IT, and stakeholders across regions to deliver process improvements, automation, and integrations. This is an onsite role with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years supporting enterprise applications and HR tech.
• Experience gathering requirements and turning into technical solutions.
• Understanding architecture, workflow automation, integrations, and data management.
• Experience configuring enterprise applications and business systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR, IT, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Analyze and improve business processes through workflow design, system enhancements, automation, and continuous process optimization.
• Design, configure, test, implement, and support HR systems, enterprise applications, and cross-functional technology solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop and maintain integrations between HR platforms, internally developed applications, and enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions to improve system reliability and user experience.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics that provide actionable insights for operational management and business decision-making.
• Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), release management, change management, and production deployments.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, data quality, and employee experience.
