Job summary

An Am Law firm in New York is seeking a Systems & Data Analyst to support the implementation and optimization of enterprise applications, with a focus on Workday HRIS. You will work with HR, Finance, IT, and leadership to improve system functionality, streamline processes, and develop data-driven reporting solutions.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of HRIS/data analytics experience, hands-on Workday experience, strong Excel and Power BI skills, and a background in data integrations and secure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, CS, Analytics, HR, or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in HRIS, business systems analysis, data analytics, or related discipline.
• Hands-on Workday experience including HRIS integrations, reporting, or implementations.
• Experience with API authentication, encryption, digital certificates (X.509/PGP), SFTP, and secure data exchange.
• Experience with legal financial systems such as Aderant or Elite 3E.
• Strong Excel and Power BI skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Workday HRIS implementation, including data migration, validation, testing, reporting, and ongoing optimization.
• Gather and analyze business requirements to develop scalable reports, dashboards, and system solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve Workday functionality, data quality, workflows, and operational efficiency.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, integrations, and data processing solutions.
• Troubleshoot system performance issues and maintain data integrity across enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors on system enhancements and projects.
• Develop reporting and analytics solutions using Excel, Power BI, and related tools.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards.
