Our client is seeking an experienced Workday HRIS Analyst to support and enhance HR applications and the technology landscape. The role maintains and optimizes Workday HCM while partnering with HR, Benefits, Total Rewards, Payroll, and Player Relations teams. The analyst serves as the primary technical point of contact for HR systems and ensures efficient business processes, data integrity, accurate reporting, and timely troubleshooting.

Salary: $100,000 - $150,000/ yr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support Workday HCM with emphasis on Benefits, Leave/Time Off, and Advanced Compensation.
- Partner with HR and Technology teams to identify system improvements, troubleshoot issues, and recommend enhancements.
- Support HR management systems including employee data management, reporting, and process documentation.
- Ensure Workday and other HR solutions integrate effectively and follow organizational standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot outbound integration errors and support systems such as emPerform, Absorb, Navex, Okta, and various APIs.
- Create and maintain custom Workday reporting, calculated fields, and scheduled reports.
- Load bulk data changes using EIBs and perform mass rescinding or canceling of data loads when needed.
- Review, test, and project-manage Workday semiannual releases with HR and business stakeholders.
- Develop and enhance digital workflows across HR and support cross-functional teams.
- Manage system integrations with internal and external providers to ensure data accuracy and process reliability.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for HR systems, processes, and workflows.
- Conduct training and develop user procedures, guidelines, and supporting materials.
- Ensure compliance with information security requirements for sensitive PII and financial data.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years of HRIS administration experience with Workday HCM, including Benefits, Leave/Time Off, and Advanced Compensation.
- Minimum 5 years of HR administration experience with at least 3 years working directly with Workday products.
- Strong proficiency in Workday HCM configuration, business processes, notifications, and security group or role management.
- Experience creating advanced custom reporting, calculated fields, and scheduled reports.
- Ability to troubleshoot integration errors and familiarity with API-connected systems.
- Project management experience with standard platforms and methodologies.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
- Strong communication skills with ability to create and deliver clear documentation and presentations.
- Experience managing and safeguarding PII and financial data.
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Desired: Experience with Asana or similar project management tools.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, HR Management, or a related field.
- Ongoing engagement with Workday Community, training resources, forums, and related channels.
