Job summary

Checkr, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Workday specialist to own the platform end-to-end, shaping HRITFinance integrations and automation.

You will configure, test, and deploy across HCM Core, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent, and Recruiting, while driving releases and health checks for reliability. Your role includes building integrations with Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, and Workday APIs, plus optimizing self-service UIs and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive HR technology experience with deep Workday expertise.
• Workday modules such as HCM Core, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent or Recruiting.
• Workday certification (Pro or equivalent) is a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience building Workday integrations using Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, and Workday APIs.
• Strong Workday security model, business process framework, and advanced reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own and advance the Workday platform end-to-end across HR, IT, and Finance.
• Lead configuration, testing, and deployment across core Workday modules.
• Manage releases, regression testing, audits, and health checks for platform stability.
• Build and maintain integrations to connect Workday with adjacent systems (Greenhouse, CultureAmp, Pave, payroll, finance).
• Improve self-service experiences and automate workflows within Workday.
• Collaborate with vendors/partners and translate requirements into technical specs.
