Job summary

RTX Enterprise Services is seeking an Associate Director, HCM Core & Workday Security to lead strategy, governance, and optimization of Workday HCM Core and Security globally. You will own security model design, supervise data governance, and ensure compliant access across the platform.

You will partner with HR, Cybersecurity, Legal, and Audit, drive biannual Workday releases, mentor the functional team, and shape enterprise data frameworks while maintaining data integrity and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years’ related experience including 10 years in Workday leadership within HCM or Security.
• Proven ownership of Workday security architecture and HCM foundational design.
• Experience working with cross-functional influence.
• Deep understanding of HR operations, data governance, regulatory requirements, and enterprise security models.
• Strong stakeholder management, executive communication, and leadership capabilities with cross-functional HR/IT transformation or system governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy for Workday HCM core structures and hire-to-retire processes.
• Design and enforce Workday security policies and governance.
• Govern core HCM processes and sensitive data; coordinate cross-functional changes.
• Lead long-term planning, roadmap, and risk mitigation for HCM Core & Security.
• Partner with HR, Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, Audit, and Legal to align security with policy.
• Own enterprise-wide Workday security model design and least-privilege protections.
• Lead relationships with HR, Enterprise Services, and Workday support.
• Approve security changes proposed by analysts to maintain integrity.
• Provide leadership for foundational data structures: supervisory orgs, positions, locations, worker data.
• Improve processes with new Workday features; redesign workflows.
• Ensure controls and documentation exist for data access.
• Provide strategic leadership for biannual Workday release cycle as Release Manager.
• Lead and mentor the Workday functional team; workforce capacity management.
• Serve as escalation tier for complex HCM & Security issues.
