Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a lead Workday Security expert to partner with HR, IT, and compliance teams to define and optimize the security framework across the Workday environment. You will design, govern, and maintain access controls to balance business needs with data protection requirements, including handling complex security changes and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of Workday Security configuration experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years’ Workday security experience.
• Experience in a principal, lead, or senior analyst role supporting Workday Security.
• Experience supporting security across multiple Workday modules (HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, Time Tracking, etc.).
• Experience with integrations, SSO, identity and access management processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead SME for Workday Security strategy, design, and configuration.
• Own and maintain Workday security configuration including policies, roles, and access groups.
• Lead scalable security models aligned with business needs and data protection.
• Coordinate governance, risk management, and audit support for security controls.
