Job summary

The City of Seattle's Information Technology (IT) department seeks a Workday Product Operations Manager to drive governance and operational excellence of the Workday HCM platform. You will oversee configuration, integrations, reporting, security, data governance, testing, and release management to keep Workday reliable and scalable.

Collaborating with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT Security, Internal Audit and HR leaders, you will optimize processes, advance automation, and guide enterprise-wide

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Workday HCM or enterprise HRIS experience.
• 4+ years leading HR technology teams and driving operational improvements.
• Strong configuration and integrations knowledge for Workday.

Responsibilities

• Own Workday product vision, roadmap, and governance.
• Oversee daily Workday operations including configuration and testing.
• Lead release management, data conversion, and reporting strategies.
• Manage security roles, access controls, and compliance.
• Lead cross-functional decision-making with HR, Payroll, Finance.
