Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Workday Functional Consultant to join our HR Strategy & Technology team. You will be responsible for supporting Workday HCM projects, gathering and validating HR requirements, and collaborating in workshops to guide business and system decisions.

The role requires 1+ year of Workday HCM experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel ~50% of the time. Preference given to those with HR/finance/tech consulting background and familiarity with core Workday modules.

Qualifications

• 1+ year Workday HCM experience in core modules (HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Absence).
• 2+ years gathering and documenting business requirements.
• 2+ years consulting or in HR/finance/tech.
• Ability to travel 50% on average.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Support Workday functional workstreams for implementation and optimization projects.
• Gather, document, and validate HR processes and Workday functionality.
• Participate in client workshops, demonstrations, and design discussions to support business process and system decisions.
• Assist with Workday configuration, testing, data validation, and end-user training activities.
• Develop project deliverables, including process documentation, configuration guides, and training materials.
