Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Workday Functional Consultant to join our HR Strategy & Technology team. You will support Workday HCM implementations, document HR requirements, and participate in client workshops to drive HR process improvements and system configurations.

The role requires collaboration, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Travel up to 50% and a focus on delivering high-quality work are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 1+ year of experience supporting, implementing, or optimizing Workday HCM in modules such as HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Performance Management or Talent
• 2+ years of experience gathering and documenting business requirements and processes
• 2+ years of consulting or in HR, finance, or technology
• Ability to travel 50% on average

Responsibilities

• Support Workday functional workstreams for implementation and optimization projects
• Gather, document, and validate HR process and Workday functionality requirements
• Participate in client workshops, demonstrations, and design discussions
• Assist with Workday configuration, testing, data validation, and end-user training
• Develop project deliverables including process docs, configuration guides, and training materials
• Lead projects or workstreams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
