Job summary

Experis is seeking a Workday Core HCM Compensation Lead to join a client project. The role requires leading Workday HCM and Compensation configurations, translating requirements into compliant setups, and supporting design workshops and deployments.

Travel to client sites in California is expected about one week per month. Ideal candidates hold Core HCM and Compensation certifications, have at least two implementations led, and may possess knowledge of California state laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Certified in Core HCM and Compensation are required.
• Minimum of 2 implementations led.
• Knowledge of California state laws, policies, and regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support Workday HCM and Compensation modules, including job profiles, organizations, compensation plans, eligibility rules, grades, and structures.
• Translate business, policy, and compensation requirements into compliant Workday configurations.
• Support design workshops, testing, data validation, and deployment activities.
• Partner with HR, compensation, and payroll stakeholders to resolve issues and optimize solutions.
• Maintain integrity and professionalism to uphold a respectful work environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong ownership, clear communication, and a commitment to compliant, high-quality HR technology solutions which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Configure and support Workday HCM and Compensation modules, including job profiles, organizations, compensation plans, eligibility rules, grades, and structures
• Translate business, policy, and compensation requirements into compliant Workday configurations
• Support design workshops, testing, data validation, and deployment activities
• Partner with HR, compensation, and payroll stakeholders to resolve issues and optimize solutions
• Maintain integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold a respectful and courteous work environment

What's Needed?

• Certified in both Core HCM and Compensation required
• Minimum 2 implementations led required
• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university preferred
• State & Local Government experience preferred
• Knowledge of California state laws, policies, and regulations preferred
