Workday Compensation Specialist- Remote (anywhere in the USA)

No C2C, only W2 Candidates

We are looking for a Workday Compensation Specialist to join our Total Rewards and Performance Solutions team. This high-impact role requires deep expertise in Workday Core and Advanced Compensation, especially in supporting and executing year-end compensation processes.

Job Summary:

As a senior-level contributor, you’ll serve as a Workday Compensation SME, driving configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing enhancements. You'll also play a key role in documentation, stakeholder communication, and supporting critical compensation cycles.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead configuration, implementation, and testing of Workday Compensation solutions
  • Design and document enhancements, provide ongoing support, and resolve defects
  • Partner closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver optimal solutions
  • Deliver reports and dashboards supporting compensation processes
  • Drive the year-end compensation cycle, including validation and analytics
  • Ensure confidentiality and sound judgment across all aspects of the role

Key Qualifications:

  • Workday certifications in HCM Core, Compensation, and Advanced Compensation
  • Strong presentation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and deliver with a sense of urgency
  • Deep experience in compensation business processes and systems testing
  • Prior experience with year-end compensation support

Preferred Skills:

  • Expertise in Workday Advanced Compensation configurations
  • Familiarity with system testing: UAT, regression, and data validation
  • Strong documentation and change management practices
  • Ability to stay current with Workday releases and apply enhancements
  • Excellent multi-tasking and critical thinking skills
