Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Compensation Specialist II to join our HR team. This role focuses on leveraging data and analytics to support compensation programs, partnering with business leaders, HRBPs, Legal and Finance to deliver effective and equitable compensation strategies across the organization. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, has a strong command of compensation principles, and is skilled in interpreting and presenting data with a high level of accuracy to drive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
o Drive creation of, maintain, and enhance data dashboards and compensation reports to support decision-making across HR and business teams.
o Maintain compensation ranges tables, update as required and partner with the vendor for periodic reviews.
o Develop and manage compensation modeling tools to analyze market competitiveness, pay equity, and internal alignment.
o Annual bonus calculation validation and audit of both annual bonus and commission payouts.
o Lead pay equity analysis to ensure compliance and fairness across the organization.
o Track all non-standard employment agreements, inclusive of cash bonus and equity.
o Serve as a compensation consultant to HR Business Partners and business leaders, providing guidance on pay decisions, job leveling, and market trends.
o Support offer approvals, including base salary, bonus, and equity components.
o Partner with HRBPs to support job architecture, job analysis (JA) mapping, and leveling.
o Contribute to the design and execution of compensation programs, including annual compensation reviews (ACR), incentive plans, and sales commission structures.
o Coordinate closely with Payroll and Finance to ensure accurate compensation implementation and budgeting.
o Lead or support compensation-related audits and ensure data integrity and compliance.
o Conduct market research and participate in compensation surveys to benchmark jobs and assess competitiveness.
o Analyze industry trends and provide insights to help shape compensation strategy.
o Ensure that all compensation practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain accurate documentation for audits and compliance reporting, ensuring pay equity and legal requirements are met.
o Work closely with internal stakeholders including HRBPs, Finance, and Payroll to align compensation strategies with business objectives.
o Participate in key projects and initiatives related to compensation and broader HR programs.
o Support the compensation leader in preparing materials for executive reviews and compensation committees (as needed).
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or related field
· 7+ years of progressive compensation or data analytics experience
· Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday).
· In-depth knowledge of compensation structures, equity, job architecture, and market benchmarking.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong consulting mindset.
Where: Remote, US
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely.Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.
Benefits and Perks:
Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 USD per year with a variable component in most US locations.Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above
