Baker Tilly seeks a Workday Adaptive Planning Manager to lead implementation projects within Baker Tilly Digital Advisory Services. You will manage engagement teams, design solutions, and deliver client-ready planning capabilities that align with business goals.

The role requires strong JavaScript/SQL skills and substantial experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, ERP integrations, and reporting. Travel ~20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include accounting, finance, information systems, business analytics, or related.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), FP&A, financial systems, or consulting.
• Minimum of 4 years of Workday Adaptive Planning implementation experience.
• Experience leading multiple end-to-end Workday Adaptive Planning implementations.
• Experience in JavaScript and SQL, with the ability to understand, troubleshoot, and support data integrations.
• Minimum of 5 years of corporate financial accounting experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of corporate financial planning and analysis experience preferred.
• Consulting experience preferred.
• Experience managing multiple project workstreams, project budgets, and client relationships simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning model design, integrations, administration, reporting, dashboards, OfficeConnect, security, and scenario planning.
• Experience integrating Workday Adaptive Planning with ERP and other financial systems.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and financial data flows.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
• Experience with process improvement and root cause analysis preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead Workday Adaptive Planning implementation projects from discovery through deployment, ensuring on-time, in-scope delivery.
• Facilitate client sessions to understand business processes, planning requirements, reporting needs, and KPIs.
• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of integrations and models and provide guidance on security and reporting frameworks.
• Design, configure, test, and optimize Workday Adaptive Planning models, including sheets, versions, dimensions, security, dashboards, and OfficeConnect.
• Oversee integrations between Workday Adaptive Planning and ERP, HRIS, CRM, and other systems.
• Provide technical guidance on integrations using JavaScript, SQL, APIs, JDBC and related platforms.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting efficiencies to improve financial insight.
• Manage project risks, issues, resources, and client expectations throughout engagements.
• Serve as primary day-to-day client contact and build trusted advisor relationships.
• Mentor and develop team members; contribute to methodology and asset development.
• Support business development with proposals, demos, and scoping discussions.
• Stay current on product enhancements and industry trends in financial planning and EPM.
