D2 Government Solutions is seeking a highly organized Work Management and Projects Specialist to support the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) at Fort Benning. This position plays a critical role in managing work order records, project documentation, and facilities-related data that support installation planning, maintenance, and operational decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with project tracking systems, work management processes, or records-intensive environments and possess exceptional attention to detail. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of project and work order data while supporting reporting, compliance, and operational planning efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Review daily work order transactions to ensure records are complete, properly coded, accurately documented, and closed in a timely manner.
- Validate DA Form 4283 project requests and supporting documentation prior to creating or updating project records.
- Maintain project information and supporting data within authorized systems, including cProjects and the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) Project System.
- Monitor Army Maintenance Application (ArMA) activities and prepare accurate monthly reporting summaries.
- Research discrepancies, identify root causes, maintain detailed audit trails, and coordinate corrective actions through authorized channels.
- Reconcile transaction data and support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual work planning and performance reports.
- Maintain organized project files, records, and documentation to support audits, reviews, and management reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with financial analysts, project stakeholders, and government personnel to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.
- Support process improvement initiatives that enhance work management efficiency and data integrity.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, Public Administration, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with work order management, facilities administration, project controls, maintenance operations, records management, or other high-volume transactional environments.
- Strong attention to detail with proven ability to manage large datasets while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Experience validating, tracking, and reconciling operational or project-related data.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and database management tools.
- Experience with GFEBS, cProjects, ArMA, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems, or similar work management platforms is highly desirable.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and government stakeholders.
- Required GFEBS roles and permissions must be obtained within the timeframe specified by the contract.
- Ability to successfully complete required security processing and obtain a Department of Defense Common Access Card (CAC), network access, and applicable system permissions, subject to government approval.
Work Location and Schedule
This position is primarily performed onsite at Fort Benning, Georgia, during standard operating hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays and government-directed closures.
