Summary of This Role

Investigates potential credit card fraud cases based on information received from the fraud detection system. Analyzes account history, including payment and transaction records. Contacts customers to gather additional information regarding fraudulent charges. Maintains accurate documentation for investigations.

Responsibilities

• Responds to 25+ account inquiries per hour, providing scripted responses to merchants and cardholders of assigned clients, within SLA guidelines. Assists with fraud prevention activities like blocking and transferring compromised accounts, and processes credit card replacement orders.
• Builds foundational knowledge to identify credit card fraud through training, research, and guidance from experienced analysts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of recent contact center or work-from-home experience
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Pay rate of $20.84/hour plus a 20% language differential, totaling approximately $25.01/hour. Entry level, non-negotiable pay.
• Flexible work schedule, may include weekends and mid to late shifts.
• Must be on camera during training and nesting.
• Minimum internet speed: 50 Mbps download, 15 Mbps upload.
• Complete an online digital interview and pass a background check.
• Position is primarily remote within the US; no visa sponsorship available.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of recent fraud-related or dispatch experience.

Skills & Capabilities

• Routine to semi-routine tasks, limited decision-making, following established procedures under supervision.
