Job summary

PROSSER CAREER EDUCATION CENTER in New Albany, Indiana seeks a Coordinator for Work-Based Learning & Student Success to oversee WBL programs, PBIS initiatives, and student engagement.

The role reports to the Building Principal, with duties including state/federal reporting, partnerships with employers, dual-credit coordination, and coordinating exams and assessments; requires a Bachelor's degree and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in education/psychology/sociology or related field.
• Strong communication and engagement skills.
• Understanding of Career & Technical Education course offerings.
• Experience in student programming, scheduling, and facilitation desired.
• Experience developing support programs for student success.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates work-based learning reporting to include Form 30A/INTERs and other state/federal reporting.
• Provides staff with state and federal updates related to work-based learning.
• Plans, organizes and facilitates PBIS/soft skills initiatives and lessons for students and staff.
• Participates in student orientations, recruiting at sending schools and job fairs.
• Collaborates with staff to help find work-based learning opportunities and partnerships.
• Serve as the primary liaison for employers and school staff for Work Based Learning.
• Supports work-based learning educators by performing placement visits.
• Shares in the development and coordination of school-wide events related to work-based learning and PBIS/soft skills.
• Organizes and leads administration of post-secondary entrance exams and certifications.
• Assists the coordination of dual credit agreements with post-secondary institutions.
• Supports student success with follow-up interventions.
• Collaborate with CTE teachers to align programs with Indiana Diploma requirements.
• Develop and manage Work-Based Training Plans aligned with NLPS pathways.
• Performs other duties as assigned by administration.
